2 Minute Whole30 Dill Sauce

I think it was around day 15 or 20 of my 3rd Whole30 when I reached the point where I felt like I could not cook one more complicated meal!

As much as I love things like Whole30 compliant Buffalo Chicken Casserole, I just needed to stop making meals that take 2 hours and dirty every dish in the house. I debated just quitting my Whole30 and abandoned the paleo lifestyle I lead outside of Whole30 but I knew that would leave me feeling terrible.

I wanted to remain Whole30 compliant but I wanted it to be EASY!

The Perfect Whole30 Plated Fat

I scanned my fridge looking for plated fat possibilities and found my Primal Kitchen Mayo (I know, I really should make my own mayo but buying the mayo is one of my master shortcuts).

I knew plain mayo on top of my naked chicken or salmon cakes wasn’t going to help get me out of food rut so I started researching how to make a quick aioli. I didn’t quite have all of the ingredients for any of the recipes so I just started throwing together stuff I did have.

Within a few minutes,I somehow created this amazing sauce that is just perfectly creamy, garlicy, salty and tangy.

It will transform your most boring Whole30 meal into a satisfying delight. You can really use this sauce on top of anything or as a dipping sauce. We absolutely love this sauce with our Easy Whole30 Salmon Cakes

It’s All About the Dill

Whole30 Dill Sauce


We decided to plant some dill in our garden this year even though we really had no idea what we were going to use it for. The day I created this sauce I had tons of dill that I had harvested from the garden that was just sitting there staring at me waiting to be put to use. I decided to chop it up and mix into my “aioli”. Something about the unique dill flavor really set this sauce over the top. If you don’t have fresh dill on hand, you can use dried dill and the sauce really is just as good.

You have to try dipping my Whole30 Breakfast Potatoes in this sauce, it’s our favorite Whole30 food combination ever!

  • 1/4 cup Whole30 Complaint Mayo homemade or Primal Kitchen Mayo
  • 2 1/4 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar Bragg's is best
  • 3/4 tsp dried dill or 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder double check label for Whole30 compliance


  1. Add all ingredients to small bowl and stir together. Store any unused sauce in the fridge, not that you will have any left!
